Doublepoint needles size:  6-7

1 skein Heroes yarn, or 2 strands rayon boucle or shiny rayon – 100yds each.

Cast on:  65.   distribute evenly over 3 needles

Join.  K 2 rounds

Ruffle: Dec rnd: K1, *sl2-k1-p2sso-k2; rep from *.  1 stitch left over – k1.  39 sts on needles [13 each needle].

K2 rnds.

Eyelet rnd: *K2tog, yo; rep from *, end k1.

Body: K5 rnds.  Inc 3 sts on next rnd [beginning of every needle]

K 5 rnds again.  Inc 3more sts on next rnd [beginning of each needle] – 45 sts.

K 5 rnds.  Inc 6 sts on next rnd – 51 sts.

K 10 rounds.

Bottom: P 1 rnd

K 1 rnd.  K last 2 sts together. – 50 sts.

Dec:  [K8, k 2tog] 5 times.  – 45 sts

K 1 rnd

[K7, k2tog] 5 times. – 40 sts

K 1 rnd

[K 6, k2tog ] 5 times. – 35 sts

K 1 rnd.

[K 5, k2tog] 5 times – 30sts

[K 4, k2tog] 5 times – 25sts

[K 3, k2tog] 5 times – 20sts

[K 2, k2tog] 5 times – 15sts

[K 1, k2tog] 5 times – 10sts

K2tog 5 times – 5 sts left

Thread yarn through sts and secure in place.

I – cord:  Work 2 sts for 20”.  Draw through eyelet rnd and tie a knot at each end.
