Easy Flat Top Rolled Brim Hat

10 ½ circular needles

10 ½  double pointed needles

1 skein heavy cotton/rayon Tabitha 75 yds

Cast on 45 stitches

Knit in the round  28 rows

Top of hat:

Purl 1 row

Knit 1 row

K 2 tog, K 8 repeat until end of row.  K 1 row

K2 tog, K 7 repeat until end of row.  K 1 row

K2 tog, K 6 repeat until end of row

K 1 row.  Switch to double pointed needles.

K 2 tog, K 5 repeat until end of row.  K 1 row

K 2 tog, K 4 repeat until end of row.  K 1 row

K 2 tog, K 3 repeat until end of row.  K 1 row

K 2 tog, K 2 repeat until end of row.  K 1 row

K2 tog, K 1 repeat until end of row.  K 1 row

K2 tog 5 times.   Cut yarn leaving 12 inches. 

Pull tail through remaining stitches, knot, pull to inside of hat.
