Samples and Patterns

In our quest to provide simple and beautiful projects for 1or 2  skeins of our yarn, we've assembled quite a selection of patterns.    Most of the samples are available to view in person at Yarns Unlimited in Bloomington, Indiana.   The Patterns are listed with the yarns we made the samples with, but any similar yarn can be substituted.    Contact us if you have questions.  

Please be aware that we are not professional pattern writers and writing patterns is difficult.   If there are errors, we apologize!  Please let us know what the error is and we'll fix it as soon as we can.

Cotton Spiral & Rayon Spiral [Arctic Night]:  Rolled Brim Flat Top Hat

Mohair rayon Duo [Purple/Vineyard]:  Easy Knitted Scarf

Knitting Instructions:  Cut 24 strands for fringe, 12" long.  Size 15 needles.  CO 13.  Seed st until you run out of yarn.  Fringe:  knotted - 2 strands x 6 bundles each end.

Chickadee Duo [Summer]:  Easy Crochet Evening Clutch

Spiral Rayon [Vineyard] & Warbler [Aurora]  Woven Scarf.   Plain weave.  Finished:  80" + 7" twisted fringe each end.   1 skein each Spiral Rayon and Warbler cotton boucle. 

Instructions:  Warp:  3 yds long , Rayon Spiral; 75 ends, 12 epi x 6.25" wide.    Weft:  Warbler cotton boucle, 12 ppi.   

  12/2 Rayon [Renaissance]:  Easy Twill Scarf.   2/2 Twill.  Finished:  80" + 2" fringe.    2 skeins 12/2 rayon.

Instructions:  Warp:  3 yds long,  216 ends, 36 epi x 6" wide.   Leave1end each side for floating selvedge.    Weft: 23-24 ppi.
