Tonals are very popular these days and we've got 8 new tonal colorways for this year: Sea, Leaf, Tea, Sandstone, Dusk, Gold, Russet and Sage. We're putting them on bamboo first. Check out our newest yarns and colors, below!

We dye all of our yarns ourselves, and mix all of the dye colors from two sets of primary color dyes. Because we keep careful records, we can repeat colorways. That said, the alchemy of weather, temperature, fiber and dye magic produces variations that are delightful, yet unpredictable. No two batches are exactly alike, so if it matters, make sure you get enough for your project now. We're always dyeing, so if you're interested in something that is not listed, contact us to see if we can whip some up for you.

Please note: We specialize in dyeing cellulose [vegetable] fibers. Even under ideal conditions, cellulose fibers take only 67% of the dye. That means 33% of the dye is going to come out. We rinse and rinse, then soak, then rinse and rinse some more in hot water to get as much free dye out as possible. However, we can't guarantee that there will be no more bleeding. It is generally unwise to use hand dyed yarns in combination with other light colored yarns and fabrics which might take up any migrating dye.

Washing instructions for all yarns: Hand wash gently in cold water. Lay finished garments flat to dry.
